Well, My name John M. Whiddon but my friends and family call me Mickey my nickname given to me by my oldest brother who wanted to name Mickey Charles after the famous Mickey Mantle.

I'm 38 years old and still single. (I wonder why) I live in the small town of Chattahoochee.  About 50 miles west of Tallahassee in the Panhandle of North Florida.

I'm lucky enough to live on Lake Seminole. It really is a beautiful place and before my Diving Accident, (see "Mick's Big Adventure") I swam, fished, and played there. I lived a simple life before my accident and try to do the same now. My life now is a lot different. After my accident, I graduated high school with my class in 1984, went to Tallahassee Community College for awhile and at the time wasn't interested in learning. So I took a break and have never looked back.

I like learning about designing and building web pages and printing business cards, flyers, etc. for friends. I wouldn't mind making some money doing it, but for now its just a hobby that gives me something to do. I like Computers & Surfing the Internet, Deer Hunting, Fishing, Disability Issues & Spinal Cord Injuries. I also enjoy watching Movies, Listening to Music, Dining Out and watching Nascar, NHRA. Going to Car Shows, Drag Races, Even went SKYDIVING.  

Oh yes did I mention Females, I really like the Ladies...

I would like to take the time to thank a few special people for their love and support. They are my wonderful family without you I dare to think what might have been.
